There is nothing quite as frustrating as being weighed on dishonest scales.

This occurs when someone decides your guilt based on their feelings instead of a set of moral absolutes.

One woman that I mentored left her church because she was greatly wronged by leadership. But everyone judged her as the wrong party instead of hearing her out - they blamed her and weighed her actions on dishonest scales. They did not know the truth of what happened. They made a decision about her actions based on how much they would lose by siding with her. They judged her based on their feelings - not seeking the Lord for His truth.

When Truth is not valued, there is no standard by which to weigh anything. If “truth” is measured according to our own opinions and emotions, there is no baseline in which justice can be administered.

Jesus knew that the woman caught in adultery was being weighed on dishonest scales. The man caught in adultery did not get the same treatment... it was only the woman. It may have even been a setup to catch Jesus - but He balanced the scales for all of them by essentially challenging them to judge their own actions by the same scales. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.

There is a lack of honest scales in America. We weigh everything on our own opinions and emotions. It is quite disheartening because this is the very foundation of lawlessness.

If it's the truth that sets us free - then it is lawlessness that puts us in chains.

We must return to equal justice and equal mercy. No matter the race, gender, religion, or political bent the same scales must be used for all.

It begins with us, the Body of Christ. Let us take the plank out of our own eye first. Let us examine our own motives. Let us pray for honest scales and begin to measure situations based on God's truth and not our own opinions.

"The LORD detests dishonest scales, but accurate weights find favor with him." Proverbs 11:1

I was doing some research the other day on the separating of the Spirit and the Soul when I ran across this quote.

It was so powerful that I had to write it down.

The devil's great purpose, and for which he fights, is to keep the world in ignorance of himself, his ways, and his colleagues, and the Church is taking sides with him when siding with ignorance about him.  - Jessie Penn-Lewis

God, Himself, wrote something similar in Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because you have rejected knowledge…

How many battles have we lost because we don’t have the knowledge to fight the devil and his colleagues? The answer is FAR TOO MANY!

Let us make an effort to know how to fight in Spiritual Warfare. Let's NOT remain ignorant of the devil and his ways that we might not take his side anymore!

Here are a few pieces of wisdom when fighting the good fight.

1. Everything that the devil has complicated and magnified has a very simple answer. Whatever giant you are fighting - there is a simple stone that can take it down. The giant is usually undone by forgiveness, renouncing lies, or closing doors to sin and then STANDING! Ask God to show you behind the curtain of the Wizard of Oz show.  What is powering the giant?  Then proceed accordingly.

2. The forgiveness of your sins and the sins of others has much more power than you can imagine.  Evil is fueled by sin.  Jesus gave you the power to remit (forgive) sins. (John 20:23) When you see that sin is the problem in any given warfare - simply go to God and ask forgiveness on behalf of that person. (No. you cannot repent FOR them but you can ask God to take a layer of heavy sin off of them so that it might be easier for them to turn to God) This is certainly true of generational sins.

3. The devil is attempting to pollute both time and space. The enemy can curse the land you live on. He can also curse a certain time of day - or a certain season of the year. Don't forget to address both Time and Space when you fight him.

4. Resting can be warfare. When we take a day and rest - we are essentially saying that we trust God enough to protect and provide for us. This infuriates the devil! :)

5. Remember that even the toughest giants are not hard for the Lord. He is the Way-Maker. Ask for the blueprint to conquer the giant. Be persistent and be patient - don't get offended. When you ask - the blueprint is on it's way. Sometimes the enemy just fights like hell to keep it from you. (Ask Daniel!)  Keep growing in your wisdom and understanding of the devil! We must increase our knowledge in order to defeat him! God open our eyes to the ways of our enemy.  We ask for knowledge that we might not be destroyed!

Preparing the Bride: What is Babylon and how to come out of it?

We must be preparing the Bride for the return of Christ.  It is pertinent that we get ourselves ready!  Jesus deserves a spotless and wrinkle free Bride.  But I have had several dreams which indicate that she is not getting herself ready.  You can read about those dreams

In an attempt to help my readers get themselves ready, I will begin to write from time to time on different things we can do to prepare ourselves for Christ’s return.

I know the book of Revelation can be hard to understand – even worse, we have theologians who continually argue about the interpretation of some of John’s visions.  All of this confuses us, and we end up washing our hands of the book of Revelation and say to ourselves, “It’s too hard.”

But it’s not too hard.  It can be easy, as long as we take one bite at a time and not try to eat the whole piece of steak at one time.  When we read other books of the Bible, say Colossians, it’s easy to read it in one sitting.  But you cannot do that with the Book of Revelation.  Revelation has to be cut into small pieces and then chewed like a good piece of steak!

The piece I want us to chew on today is the difference between Babylon and the Kingdom of God.

God clearly tells us to come out of Babylon so we will not share in her sins or receive her plagues.

Revelation 18:4-5

Come out of her [Babylon], my people,’

so that you will not share in her sins,

    so that you will not receive any of her plagues;

for her sins are piled up to heaven,

and God has remembered her crimes.

So just what is Babylon and how can we know if we are tangled up in her web?

Babylon is a system of thinking that is contrary to the Lord.

Babylon, essentially, is worldly thinking that was planted in Adam and Eve by the devil in the Garden of Eden.  Its root is fear, and its fruit are greed, selfishness, pride, and mastery (ruling over other people).

The system of Babylon is trusting in one’s self to provide power, significance, and provision no matter who gets hurt in the process.  People use other people to get what they want - and say whatever they think the other person wants to hear in order to get their needs met.  This is a form of prostitution. When this system grows into an entire culture, the people at the bottom of the system are enslaved by those at the top.

The Kingdom of God is built upon love, self-sacrifice, equality, and dependence upon our Creator for provision and significance.  This system sees other people as equals and is built on servanthood. People volunteer to serve others. When this system grows into a culture, the people are set free to live their lives in liberty and peace.  They are free to follow God’s plan for their lives if they so choose.

Babylon is a forced master/slave system.

God’s Kingdom is a voluntary father/son relationship.

We come out from Babylon by examining every relationship in our lives.

The basic question is this: Are we a slave to it?  Or is it voluntary?

Are you a slave to the opinions of friends and family or are you free to be yourself?

Are you a slave to your local church or is it voluntary?

Are you enslaved to money, power, greed, selfishness, anger?  All of these things are the foundation of the Babylonian system.  It is time to get yourself cleansed from all of them!

How do we come out from Babylon?

We first need to have our minds renewed about the difference between Babylon and God’s Kingdom.  We need to feel the fire of God about how serious He is about purging Babylon out of us!  Ask Him to show you His heart on the matter.

Then we need to take very seriously the call to come out of Babylon.  This means we sit with the Lord and have Him reveal to us where Babylon is planted in our hearts.  We take our time and pull up EVERY single weed until it is finished.  This will take diligence and perseverance but it will be WORTH IT!

Pray for God to reveal every relationship that is built on the wrong kingdom.  Ask for everything in your life that is not in His will to be uprooted.

Let the Lord show you what people you need to break ungodly soul ties with.

(Click HERE for the Breaking Soul Ties prayer.)

Break generational curses with sins that you can see have been passed down

(Click HERE for the Breaking Generational sin prayer.)

Ask God to reveal any strongholds that still need to be brought down in your heart then spend some time repenting and asking God to deliver you from the stronghold.  He is MIGHTY to save!

Continue this process of cleansing until the Lord releases you.  After you spend time with God cleansing yourself, be sure to pray the sealing up prayer each time when you are finished.

(find the “Sealing Up” prayer HERE.)

Let us not be apathetic in preparing for the King.  He deserves so much more!  Get yourself ready!

The Bride of Christ is Stuck in the Nineties

We tease my husband a lot because of the mullet haircut he had in the 90s.  My sons laughed pretty hard when they saw his senior picture.  They don't understand...but we were cool back then.  We married in 1993.  I had teased bangs and a pouffy dress, lots of sequins and pearls.  I used the colors "mauve and teal."  It was cool!   ...back then anyway.

A few mornings ago, I had a vision of being dressed as a bride.  I knew that my bridal gown was not up to date at all.  I had a huge veil that wrapped around the front of my head I had teased hair and there were ruffles on my dress. I looked in the mirror and was a bit horrified that I looked like Rachel from the TV show Friends.

I asked the Lord why I was seeing this vision… (Honestly, I was a little bit fearful to hear the interpretation LOL! Since I grew up in the 80s/90s I think I have a fear of teased hair!) After a bit of prayer, I heard the Lord say, “My Bride is stuck in the pattern of the 90s.”

As always, when the Lord speaks one little sentence can bring a tsunami of understanding.  The three-dimensional understanding that I heard in my Spirit was that the Bride had not really updated herself since the 90s.  She was still stuck in the paradigm of what the Lord did twenty-five years ago.

Twenty-five years ago – we were learning all about prayer and intercession and our identity in Christ.  We were reading “What’s so Amazing about Grace” by Phillip Yancey.  We were mesmerized by the “Left Behind” series.  Joyce Meyer had given us “Battlefield of the Mind.”   Tommy Tenney taught us to be “God Chasers.”  Stormie Omartian taught us the power of a Praying Spouse.  And Jim Cymbala gave us a “Fresh Wind, Fresh Fire” for intercession.

But really - for the most part, we haven’t moved forward since then.

There are parts of the Body of Christ that have focused on updating themselves.  But large portions of the Bride are still stuck at the “Battlefield of the Mind.”

Friends – Jesus is coming back for an “up to date” Bride. He’s moved on from the 90s – but we have not. God has moved on to prophecy and the Five Fold ministry.  He has moved beyond pastors and teachers and evangelists – He has installed the apostles and prophets, and most of the Church has not noticed.

God has moved on from simple intercession to deliverance and spiritual warfare.  These are all things that the Body of Christ is lagging behind on.  We must begin to update our “spiritual clothing.”

There are difficulties coming in which we need for our Bridal dress to also be our armor.  There is no more time for ruffles and a big veil.  We must get down to business and get equipped with the powers of the age to come.

These are the last days – and we are not ready for the fight we are about to experience.

After the Lord said, “My Bride is stuck in the pattern of the 90s,”  I heard a scripture verse in my spirit: Hosea 4:6. It was a confirmation of the vision and interpretation I was hearing…“my people are destroyed from a lack of knowledge…because they have rejected knowledge…”

A large portion of the bride has rejected the Five Fold ministry.  They have rejected the apostles and prophets.  They have rejected deliverance and effective spiritual warfare.  They are now woefully unprepared for the coming of the King, and the last battle that looms before His coming.

I know that my readers may feel helpless about this situation because their church has chosen not to “update” their knowledge and understanding in these areas.  You may feel powerless in being equipped in these areas…but you are not. The Lord said to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling.  When you stand before the throne - “My church did not show me how to become ready for the coming of the Bridegroom”  - will not be an acceptable excuse for not getting ready.  There are resources available to you.  You must train yourself to be ready!  In fact, we are behind in getting prepared.

Grace can bring you up to date.  You need to call on the Lord for an update.  Ask Him to show you how to download an update from heaven.  I am going to list some resources below that will help you as well.  If your church is not preparing you and equipping you with tools to be victorious over your enemy, then you need to do it yourself!  No more excuses!  I am here to help you and encourage you too!

If you have not followed me on Facebook, I encourage you to do so.  I release words and videos from time to time that I do not release on this blog.  I want to equip you!  I want to make you ready for Christ.  I will do everything I can to help you understand the powers of the age to come.

PROPHETIC WARNING: The Great Uncovering

"...Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed.

But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God."  John 3:19-21

God loves us.  Therefore, He is going to discipline us.

God gave me this prophetic warning for the Body of Christ on October 11, 2017

For the Lord would say:

"Everything that is being done in the dark will be brought into the light. I Am pulling back the curtain to expose Angels of Light and their followers. There will be a choice for many to make when the curtains are pulled back. They will be given a choice to repent and stand for truth. Or they will choose to remain in darkness and apart from Me.

A big test is coming.

When I reveal Myself, will My people stand with Me? Or will they stand with My enemy? The hearts of men are about to be revealed. Many will be surprised at how difficult it is to choose Me.

To those who repent and come to Me to be cleansed, I will have mercy on. To those who refuse to give up their false kingdoms, even when they are plainly exposed with My light, I will remove My hand. Plagues shall be released upon them until they either repent or completely fall away.

I am judging Lukewarmness.

I am using My truth to reveal the hearts of men, especially My Church.

Follow Me or don’t.

There is no more middle ground."

The Urgency for Believers to be Equipped with the Powers of the Age to Come

As a watchman intercessor in this nation, I can see something that is about to break forth that the Body of Christ is not ready for.

The battle of the ages, between the Kingdom of God and the kingdom of darkness is about to be sprung upon us in a deeper way than we have ever experienced.  And hear me when I say…  THE CHURCH IS NOT READY!

The battle that is about to be released is a spiritual battle for the ages.  It is the one before the return of the Lord.  The Final Battle.

The devil knows his time is short and he is pulling out all of the stops in order to see God’s people broken, devoured, and full of fear.  There is an evil that is being released that most of the Body of Christ has no understanding about how to fight.

Spirits of insanity, false signs and wonders, demonic manifestations, persecution, torment unto death, and anti-Christs that are VERY good counterfeits are awaiting their evil master’s signal to “go.”  When that happens, many good Bible Believing Christians are going to be carried away as prisoners of war.  If the Body of Christ does not soon become equipped with the powers of the age to come – they will be overcome by the darkness and taken out of commission for the Final Battle.

(I do not mean they will lose their salvation.  I mean they will lose their ability to fight in the spiritual war that rages, because they will be overcome with fear or with deception.)

It’s not too late to learn about the “Powers of the Age to Come.”

Have you ever heard a sermon preached about that?  The phrase is coined by the writer of Hebrews in Chapter 6 verse 5.  He speaks of Believers tasting the POWERS OF THE AGE TO COME.

It seems that in the 21st century very few of us have experienced these powers and yet, we see them sprinkled throughout the Word of God.

Paul defines them a little further in 2 Corinthians 10:4 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.

The powers of the age to come make no sense to this world – they are spiritual weapons.  Let’s look at a few.

The enemy’s armies were routed by the worship of God’s people. (2 Chronicles 20)

Water and food can be ‘healed.’ (Ex. 15 and 2 Kings 4)

Moses parted the waters.  (Ex. 14)

Body’s healed.   (Acts 3)

Stephen saw heaven opened as he was being stoned.  (Acts 7)

Phillip was transported from one place to another.  (Acts 8)

Peter’s shadow fell on someone and they were healed.  (Acts 5)

The people were led by visions and dreams.  (Acts 10)

They cast out demons. (Matt. 8)

The dead were raised.  (Luke 9, Mark 5)

All of these things kind of blow my mind… Because I have only seen a few of these “powers” happen with my own eyes.

We don’t know how to access most of these.  Not many of us have the faith for these things.  And yet – they are the very things we are going to need in this Final Battle.

Recently, I had a vision that I was a prisoner (along with many others) held captive in a cell in the wall of a Roman Colosseum. We each had windows to see into the arena. The lions would be released against our brother and sister Christians and they would be mauled to death.

I felt powerless. I asked the Lord to renew my mind that I was powerless against this and I renounced the lie that I couldn’t do anything about it. The Holy Spirit spoke to me and said, “You think you are powerless because you think you have to fight this with your intelligence – but this is a spiritual war and the weapons you hold are not carnal – they are spiritual. You have a sword that could end this.”

The vision immediately flipped to me standing before the lion. I took my sword and aimed for its throat and I said, “You will not kill my brothers and sisters anymore!” My sword cut deep enough that it severed the throat of the lion and it bled out on the ground. Then I began handing out swords to my fellow Believers and they began to use them on the lions and pretty soon we were victorious!

It was a spiritual war we were fighting. I had assumed it wasn’t.

I feel a bit helpless watching Christian bakers and florists who stick by their religious convictions and football coaches who pray get picked off by evil lions and mauled to death. I feel helpless with all of the yelling going on about racism and division and hate. But I think the mistake we’ve been making is assuming that we have to fight the war with the right words and worldly intelligence.

We don’t.

We must stop arguing with the weapon called “intelligence” and begin warring with the authority of the Lord and cut off the spiritual lions who are devouring the truth of God’s Kingdom!

This is how we use the powers of the age to come. (Hebrews 6) We use our God-given authority, bought for us on the cross, to come against powers and principalities that are attempting to devour our nation and our brothers and sisters in Christ. Let us all use our swords together and cut off this attempt by the enemy to take out our nation.

By faith, raise your sword and repeat after me, “By the blood of Jesus, I cut off the head of the lion who is attempting to divide our nation. I cut off the head of the lion who is devouring my fellow Believers. You WILL be silenced, in the name that is above all names – JESUS!”

This is how we begin to use the Powers of the Age to Come!

“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you.  See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and his glory appears over you.  Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn.”   Is 60:1-3

Prophetic Warning – A Volcano is Coming

“I see the Lord at the edge of a freshly asphalted highway.  It drops off suddenly and a volcano has sprung up in the middle of the road.  You can’t go around it.  You can’t go over it.  It hasn’t blown yet, but it is rumbling.”

Haggai 1 has been on my mind a lot lately.  It is apparent to me that the Holy Spirit is saying something to His Church through it today.

The prophet Haggai brings a word of rebuke to the Israelites who had been brought back to Jerusalem after seventy years of captivity.  They had begun to repair the temple twenty years earlier.  But reconstruction of the temple had ceased, and everyone went to work building their own houses instead.

Haggai comes to the High Priest and the Governor and admonishes them for focusing on their own houses while God’s house “remains a ruin.”  They got stuck thinking that this world was all about their happiness and well-being.  They stopped restoring Jerusalem when their own peace was fullfilled and forgot that they served a God who wanted to establish His Kingdom on earth.

The Israelites weren’t focused on restoring the Holy of Holies by building a place for His presence to dwell –they had their own personal holy of holies…they had achieved (false) peace in their own lives.

For the Lord says:

This is exactly where most of my Church is even today.  They think that this life is about their peace and their happiness.  They have allowed the counterfeit peace to stop them from working on My Kingdom.

Am I not coming soon?  Do I not expect the Bride to be preparing herself?

Instead, the enemy has held My Church captive by assuming that the goal of this life was about their Dream House – they have forgotten the price I told them they would have to pay to be my disciples.

They are blinded by an angel of light.  They are blinded by their own ambitions.  They are worshiping at a counterfeit holy of holies.

If you are going to be my disciples – you must pick up your cross and follow Me.  You must be more focused on My Kingdom than you are on your own.

My House is a ruin, while the Church is playing pattycake.

The devil is devouring lives while the Church is arguing about worship styles.

Not many are prepared for what is coming!”

I see the Lord at the edge of a freshly asphalted highway.  It drops off suddenly and a volcano has sprung up in the middle of the road.  You can’t go around it.  You can’t go over it.  It hasn’t blown yet, but it is rumbling.

I hear Him saying,

“My people aren’t prepared.  They’ve been busy building their own houses – but not buildling Mine.  If they would have followed Me and prepared themselves like I told them to they would be a supernatural net that would catch many fish in the turmoil…but My Church is unprepared.  So people will perish and fear will grip many, including many in My Church.

I have given them time to repent and seek Me, but they have been mesmerized by their own lives.

They are unaware of just how unprepared they are.

But I will not hold back the volcano any longer.  Ready or not --  here it comes.  For those who have prepared themselves and My House, they will bring in a large harvest.  For those who have not heeded the call to get ready, they will gnash their teeth because of their folly.

It’s unavoidable.

But I will use it to wake people out of their slumber.  I will use it as an ‘in your face’ trumpet call. It’s severe mercy to your nation.

It’s time to stop working on your own houses and begin to work on Mine!” says the Lord.

(I do not know whether the volcano I saw in my vision is literal or figurative – but it doesn’t matter.  A volcano is about to explode in our nation – and the Church is largely unprepared for either one.)

Prayer of Repentance:

God please forgive us for not working on Your house and focusing on our own.  Please have mercy on Your Church.  We pray for a spirit of repentance to sweep over us.  We ask for supernatural deliverance.  Grant us humility that we might hit our knees in a way that changes our lives forever!  May Your Kingdom come and Your will be done – we surrender our lives into Your hands.  We ask for a great harvest in the midst of the turmoil.  In Jesus Name, AMEN

Prophecy: Asking God for the Nation of Hollywood

“If you’re going to be a prophet to a culture, you’ve got to at least be in the room!”  - Bishop Harry Jackson

I heard an enlightening TV interview of Bishop Harry Jackson this past week regarding President Trump. Bishop Jackson is on the President’s religious advisory council. Anderson Cooper questioned him for why he was still there (inferring President Trump’s support for white supremacists).  Just like Daniel in Daniel 2:14 - Bishop Jackson responded with great wisdom and tact.  He said to Mr. Cooper, “If you’re going to be a prophet to a culture, you’ve got to at least be in the room!”

It was such a brilliant response from Bishop Jackson because what Mr. Cooper really wanted him to do was to abandon Donald Trump.

(Watch the clip by clicking HERE.)

But hating Donald Trump (or Barack Obama) gets us nowhere. Helping leaders of a nation by being present in the room and advising him with godly counsel or is the wise step to take.  Hate and offense do nothing to help shape this nation.

As Believers, we should be the first to understand that it is love and patience and kindness that help us speak to the culture. It is by being deeply patient and not being offended that we react to the culture like Christ did. The Church cannot help to influence our country if we are so offended that we abandon our Commander-in-Chief (no matter what side of the aisle they are from).

The same is true of Hollywood. The church is so offended at some of the evil and filth coming out of Hollywood that we have abandoned the Arts and Entertainment part of our culture. There are very few prophets in Hollywood. (Kudos to the Hollywood Prophets who remain strong!) The church has abandoned Hollywood and has left it to the wolves.

Presently, there are no redeemers, there are no restorers, and no deliverers on the Hollywood mountain.  If anyone does try to speak to the culture with kindness and hope, the religious spirit in the Church rises up to condemn and tear down because we can’t see past our offense at their sin.

When Mel Gibson fell in his sin, after giving the Church the movie The Passion of the Christ, the Church abandoned him.  We were offended by his drunkenness and anti-semitic statements.  What we should have done is reached out to him and helped restore him – not walk away in disgust.  Mel Gibson broke open the way for God’s Kingdom in Hollywood – we should be begging God to restore this prophet to the Arts and Entertainment mountain!

We have been so afraid of messy sin that we walked the other way. This is not what Jesus did at all!  He ran towards the hurting and the sinful. It was the proud that he resisted the self-righteous Pharisees that he rebuked. The Church has treated Hollywood as though they are lepers when what they actually are …is hurting and broken sinners.

There are so many people in Hollywood, actors, directors, camera people, stuntman, crew workers, who are precious to the Lord. They are called to an important part of our culture.  But the Church is afraid of the messiness of their sin, that they refuse to send “missionaries” to them.

We must admit that our culture is just as much affected by what happens in Hollywood as it is with what happens in Washington DC. I believe that Jesus is preparing the missionaries to take this mountain to begin to prophesy to the culture. Just like Bishop Jackson said you can't influence the culture without being in the room.  We cannot influence Hollywood if we don't have people on the mountain.

It is time to stop hating Hollywood! We must begin to pray for this part of our culture to turn to the Lord with all of their hearts.  They are not beyond redemption. They are not beyond the hand of the Lord. His blood was spilled for them as well.

God is the Great Storyteller, and he wants to use Hollywood in these last days to bring in a great harvest!

This is a prophetic word that God gave me regarding Hollywood recently.  Open your hearts to what God wants to do.  Let the Holy Spirit convict you if you are guilty of condemnation.  Hollywood was God’s idea!

In Psalm 2:8 the Lord instructs us to ask for the nations for our inheritance.  I am asking God for the "nation" of Hollywood for my inheritance!  Are you willing to boldly believe that Hollywood could become Holy?

For the Lord would say, “Hollywood, how often I have longed to gather you in my arms! As a Good Father, I long to hold you and comfort you in your pain. I long to set you free from the prison matrixes that the enemy has kept you captive in.”

“I loved telling stories to the people when I walked the earth. I loved capturing their hearts and minds as I told them stories to help them in their journey. Hollywood, you are in My heart,” says the Lord. “I planned you from the beginning. You will tell My story. You will glorify Me in these last days. You will ultimately be a scepter in My hand, and I will use you to beat back your enemy and the enemy of My kingdom. I Am fashioning you as a scepter in My hand.”

“But now, you need My comfort. You have been beaten and accused, oppressed and taken advantage of by those who have lusted for power and greed. Many, many young people in Hollywood have been at the mercy of those who control the puppet strings. But I have not forgotten you!” says the Lord. “I will bring you justice. I will dethrone the Pharaohs of Hollywood. I call out to the broken in Hollywood. I call out to the weary. I call out to those who have been traumatized by the Hollywood Pharaohs. Come unto Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart. I desire mercy, not judgment. Let me heal your hearts,” declares the Lord. “Let me heal your souls and deliver you from the torment of your pain.”

“You have been experiencing the pain of being neglected by your earthly ‘fathers.’ But I have not left you orphaned. I Am here!” says the Almighty. “My arms are open to you Hollywood. I'm going to give you justice. Hollywood is MINE!" says the Lord. "For I Am the Great Storyteller. The greatest part of the story is just ahead. I intend to use Hollywood to bring in a great harvest. But first, let me heal your hearts! Let My comfort bring up the valleys in your souls and then I will bring down the mountains! Consecrate yourselves for tomorrow I will do amazing things among you!” says the Lord.

The Ugly Side of the Evangelical Church

I am guilty of everything I’m about to write.

I have participated in each and every ugly bullet point below.  And I repent for it.  I was wrong.  I was selfish. I followed Paul and Apollos instead of Jesus.

The following article is not an attempt to shame anyone.  I forgive every person in the Evangelical Church who has hurt me.  This article is a call for repentance.  I am attempting to hold a mirror up to the evangelical church and asking if they like what they see.

I am going to use coarse language to describe my sin.  The Bible uses coarse language to describe Israel’s sin.  But if coarse language offends you – you should stop reading now.

I know that many people have been hurt by the Evangelical Church – personally, I have been hurt and I have also been the one who caused damage.  I am sorry for those I have misled and I ask for God’s great mercy to heal anyone I wounded.

I have attended a total of seven Evangelical Churches in my 44 years.  At different times, I was a Director of Worship, Bible Study Leader, Youth Leader, Prayer Ministry Leader, and Women’s Ministry Leader. I am still an Evangelical.  I hold fast to the Word of God.  It is my foundation.  I also believe in all of the gifts of the spirit.  I am, what I would call, a Charismatic Baptist.

My husband has helped me greatly in understanding my calling and has fully supported me throughout our 24-year marriage.  When I refer to “husbands” below – I am not referring to him personally.

I don’t always write heavy pieces – I mostly just want to help people become whole from their emotional trauma.  But it is the TRUTH that sets people free.  So the band aid must be ripped off and the veil pulled back - everything in the dark must be exposed to the light.  I am blowing the shofar (the trumpet) concerning the ugly practices of a good portion of the American Evangelical Church.

I was a whore.

I was a spiritual whore in several of my Evangelical Churches.

It’s what I was trained to be.  I was a woman who was not truly allowed to have power. My job as a church whore was to allow the men in my life to use my giftings, revelations, and talents to make them look good.  I was expected to have a man approve all of my decisions.  In my home, in my workplace, and in the church, if I did not have the OK from a man - the church considered me “out of order.”  I was trained by the church to believe that a man was always required to have the final say in my life in order for me to be one with Jesus.

So, to have any source of significance in the church, I was forced to be a whore – “one who sells themselves.”

I sold myself and my giftings to the church for acceptance.  My worship leading, my teaching gift, my administration gift – all of it.  I sold it to the men in my Evangelical Churches and took no credit at all.  I thought it was my duty to let them use me.  I just wanted to be holy.

I grew up being told that a woman’s place was to submit to men.  So then – when it came to my giftings I was forced to use them for men’s glory.  In the home – the church said I had to let my husband shine brighter than me.  So when we would go to be with church people, I would beg him not to be an introvert, because I would take the heat for it.

In the church – I had to let men, in general, shine brighter.  On several occasions, pastors stole my revelations (new understandings from the Bible) for their own sermons.  As the Director of Worship, I would sometimes completely produce an entire Sunday morning with two services all by myself. Behind the scenes – I was the one who made the church look good.  But I would never take credit – nor be given credit for all of my hard work.  I believed the lie that I was supposed to give away everything for free so that the pastor could take the stage and he could shine with his gifting.

I look back now and see how differently I felt when I was working outside the church because the world mostly sees men and women as equals.  There wasn’t the pressure to perform to make my boss look good.  I was given credit when I achieved something or created something good.  But the pressure to stay home with my kids was another way to demand that I conform to the Evangelical Hive Mind.

I wanted desperately to please the  Hive Mind (read more here). I wanted to belong.  But to belong I had to play the role of whore:  Make the men in my life look good.  Make men feel good about themselves.  Sacrifice my self-respect.  Don’t make waves.  Just perform.

In some kind of twisted way, I believed that “performing” for my pastors and elders in my church gave me some sort of power.  Somehow –  if I “performed” well enough they would see my worth and give me credit for my maturity and wisdom.  But it didn’t.  It just inclined them to use me more…

And so… I became a Madam.

A Madam is one who keeps the other whores in line.  She’s the one in charge of the whorehouse. Did you know that most Evangelical Churches who are “complementarian” have a Spiritual Madam?

It’s a necessary position.

I would correct women who weren’t letting their men shine brighter than they were.  I would reprimand women who weren’t taking a secondary role in the marriage.  I would warn the pastors about women who were “usurping” authority.

In essence, I was the one insisting that women allow men to be their Masters.

In the complementarian Evangelical Church, if the men are not the Masters over women then they have no “man-hood.”  It is a stain on their masculinity if they are married to a strong willed, gifted woman.  We are directed to serve THEIR calling while ignoring our own.  We are controlled by contrived gender roles.

One time I had a Church Madam come to me and tell me that the Lord wanted me to submit my personality to my husband.  She said that if I would just tone it down a little that it would help my marriage.  So I was not free to be who God intended for me to be, I wasn’t allowed to have the outgoing, fun-loving personality God gave me – My husband and I were expected to manipulate our marriage so that we fit into the cookie cutter that was set forth for us by the Church.

There is a lie STILL perpetuated after all of these years that there is something inherently wrong with a woman and she cannot truly lead.

Because – you know what happened in the Garden of Eden don’t you?  It was “That woman’s” fault. (Genesis 3:12)  The perpetual lie is that we are still under the curse from the garden.  So women shall continually have men “ruling” over them… and if men are not ruling and women submitting, then we are not truly one with Jesus.  Never mind that Ephesians 5:21 comes before Ephesians 5:22.  As a Madam, it is important to ALWAYS start in verse 22.

The problem with this thinking is - that if the curse of gender roles from Genesis 3 is still in effect then the blood of Jesus was not enough to roll back the curse completely.

Somehow part of the Evangelical Church believes that the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus was enough to roll back the curse of death – but not gender roles.

If we believe the lie that men must still rule over women – then a Church Madam is necessary to force the women to comply.

The Good Old Boys Club

The Good Old Boys Club in the Evangelical Church is the one that gets together behind closed doors …and decides.

They decide everything.

I hate to tell you this but most of them don’t seek the Lord.  They are putting their own plan in motion.  Because as far as they are concerned – they are the leaders the Lord has appointed so whatever is in their minds must be from God.

Sometimes it’s the Elder Board who makes up this club and sometimes it’s not.  Sometimes it’s just a few who have the Pastor’s ear.  They have invisible puppet strings attached to the pastor and they use him for their own purposes.

When the pastor is a peacekeeper – He is never the true leader of the church – the Good Old Boys Club is the one in charge.

Sometimes the pastor is the leader of the Good Old Boys Club.  When a pastor is overly insecure in his masculinity having this Club makes him feel like a man’s man.  As a woman in church leadership, I let this Club take advantage of me – because I thought it was the righteous thing to do.  I had no idea at the time, that I was being a whore.  I let the Good Old Boys Club use my gifts, talents, and influence to keep their positions as the Masters of the Church.

I will tell you a sad story that illustrates the Good Old Boys Club:   After I came out of my deception of being a Madam, I was part of a church in which it came to my attention that one of the pastors was asking the women he counseled if their sex life with their husband was satisfying.  The women didn’t feel like they could evade the question so they answered and the pastor proceeded to give them pointers on how to make it better.  He told them sexual positions to try and lingerie to buy and even websites to look at… all of this without their husband’s knowledge.

I approached the leadership of this church with proof and three witnesses about what this man was doing in his private meetings with women and nothing happened to this man at all.  He still retains his position.  He was not corrected nor reprimanded. He never asked for forgiveness from anyone.  This is because the Good Old Boys Club protected him.  They cared more for the reputation of this pastor than the women whose marriage beds had been violated.

I have witnessed a few Evangelical Churches where there was no Good Old Boys Club – but it was only because the pastor was humble enough to obey the Word and strong enough to disobey the Club.  Sometimes he survived – other times the Holy Huddle crucified him because he dared to rock the boat.

Holy Huddles

In many Evangelical Churches, peace is to be valued above all things.  It is the highest calling of the church to be at peace.  We believe the lie that if we are not at peace then we are not one with the Lord.  Because Jesus is peace.  Therefore, be quiet.  Do not disagree.  Do not point out flaws.  And especially do not point out sin.  If you point out sin – you will be ostracized and labeled a troublemaker.

I used to be a keeper of the peace.

I would tell people “Don’t rock the boat.  Be quiet about your complaint – it’s actually your issue.  Don’t judge. You’re being critical.  Have you really prayed enough for that person?  You are causing dissension…”

I really wasn’t keeping the peace.  I was forcing everyone to sweep their issues under the rug and be quiet about it.

For the most part, the church doesn’t really value peace.  We value quiet.

We value having our Holy Huddles where everyone pretends everything is all right.  Because peace is put on a pedestal and worshipped, anyone who causes conflict and doesn’t pretend everything is alright is not tracking with the Hive Mind.  Anyone who doesn’t value peace (or the absence of conflict) is put out of the Holy Huddle.

Sometimes dissent is allowed.  Usually only once.  But after that – after you’ve presented your case to the elders – now you are just whining.  Doesn’t matter how much scripture you have to back up what you are saying…  dealing with the actual issue will cause the boat to rock.  And we must have peace – or we are not one with Jesus.

Peace – whether it is real or false – must be abided by at all times!

In many of the Evangelical Churches, you must serve the Holy Huddle – or move along.  Unless you have money, if you have money – we will adapt the Holy Huddle to you.

Money Prostitutes

I wish this weren’t true, but it is.  I wish I had not participated, but I have…

Here are the bullet points of being a money prostitute in the church.

The “givers” in the church must be tended to.  Give them special treatment.  Take their phone calls.  Answer their questions. Give them leadership responsibilities.  Name parts of the building after them.

The Church service must not only please the givers it must also reach the young people.  There are rules and regulations about worship.  If they are not abided by, people will withhold their money.  So we listen carefully to the comment cards of those who give more money.

One time at an Evangelical Church I attended, I had taken steps to start a 7 days a week Prayer Ministry.  The pastor had been very supportive, it was growing and people were coming to prayer meetings we would have every single day at the church.  I was excited to actually make some headway into ministry and be able to fill a hole that was sorely needed at this church.  Until one day, I spoke from the platform about something God had laid on my heart in prayer and I offended the Church Madam whose family gave a great deal of money.  She complained to the pastor and I was brought in to his office – not to make peace with her, nor even to face her.  The pastor brought me in and gave me an ultimatum to face Church discipline or to step down from ministry.  I knew I had done nothing wrong and that this pastor was bowing to money.  So I stepped down.

Jealousy and greed are ugly.

Most Evangelical Churches are struggling for money.  So when we cannot raise enough money within the church to do what we would like to do, then we look to the world and use Babylon’s methods like grants and fundraisers to find enough money to keep our Church dream alive.

Because addressing why people aren’t truly tithing would cause waves – and we must have peace above all things.  Addressing why there is a financial famine from the God who owns the cattle on a thousand hills might cause us to have to address our own sin.

So we manipulate and find the money to at least give the perception that we have a “Picture Perfect Church.”  Money helps us to keep our veils in place.

The Evangelical Church believes that the church needs to appeal to the consumers in the community.  Instead of actually being the church, where we REACH OUT and clothe the poor and feed the hungry and offer mercy, we focus on what kind of veils will attract the community to our church.  When you are caught up in the consumerism of church, it is hard to see the truth beyond the veil that God doesn’t consider His Church to be made with bricks and mortar.  He considers His Church to be made with people.

There are several kinds of veils to keep people interested and oblivious to what is actually happening behind the scenes.

There are veils of “niceness.”

We don’t really speak the truth to one another – that would upset the delicate balance of peace. Conflict means that we are not one with Jesus.

So we’re nice.

We either ignore complainers.  Or tell them that they are completely right – but we never change the thing they bring forth.

We placate.  We may wine and dine the complainers for a moment – hoping they’ll be quiet.  We do it in the name of love.  But really we’re doing it so they’ll fall in line.  We’re doing it to placate our own soul.

And then…whether or not the dissenters listen, we have been nice.

We want to be one with Jesus and Jesus would have been nice.

There are veils of “worship.”

Take it from me, as a former Director of Worship…if we can pull of a killer worship service, people will overlook a lot.  If we dress it up and make it sound semi-professional, if we make people feel a little bit lighter because of the worship service, they are willing to look past some of the more unsavory things happening just to get their weekly dose of peace.

This is similar to David singing and worshiping before King Saul.  It brought him a little peace from his torment.  He would get a little relief from his demon but never truly repent.  In a way, this is what a worship veil does.  We give the people a little relief from their torment – but never truly pull back the veil of the cause of their torment, which is sin.

We also used to do a huge Easter production every year and the whole church would be filled with Believers, being blessed by the story they already knew.  When we shifted it to an outreach type of program, no one came.  No one brought anyone.  We were a consumer church with the wrong priorities.

There are veils of “outward appearance.”

Going to a church with a really nice building appeals to the consumerism of the world – so we build really nice facilities to cover up any flaws in the internal structure of the church.

We offer the latest and greatest programs, which again, appeal to the consumers who are looking for a church – but offering them a beautiful building and dynamic programs instead of Jesus causes people to worship their own comfort and peace.

The veil of outward appearance leaves us with a shallow church who does not truly know the Man they claim to be serving.

In a way, this veil allows the people to accept Jesus, without turning away from the world.  But the truth is –  you can’t have the Kingdom of Heaven without repenting.

Calling people to repent of their sin rocks the boat and disturbs the peace of the status quo – and the Evangelical Church is all about their (false) peace.

Sin is messy.  It takes courage to call people on their sin – especially in this day and age when you will be called judgmental or unloving.  But Jesus called people on their sin ALL. THE. TIME!

When I was a whore to the Evangelical Church, I was more concerned with the appearance of the church than I was with the hearts of people.  I did not want the world to hate us.  I wanted them to want Jesus and think He was cool.  So I helped to create veils that would make Christianity inviting.

I did not preach Christ, nor the truth that accepting Him includes forsaking the world.

When I was a whore, I pretended to play church but I really didn't build His Church. I built a comfortable "paneled house" but His true Church was left in ruins. This is why there is a drought in the American Evangelical Church.  We are guilty of the same sin of the Israelites after they returned from exile.  We're building ourselves a house - but not Him.

2 This is what the Lord Almighty says: “These people say, ‘The time has not yet come to rebuild the Lord’s house.’”

3 Then the word of the Lord came through the prophet Haggai: 4 “Is it a time for you yourselves to be living in your paneled houses, while this house remains a ruin?”

5 Now this is what the Lord Almighty says: “Give careful thought to your ways. 6 You have planted much, but harvested little. You eat, but never have enough. You drink, but never have your fill. You put on clothes, but are not warm. You earn wages, only to put them in a purse with holes in it.”

7 This is what the Lord Almighty says: “Give careful thought to your ways. 8 Go up into the mountains and bring down timber and build my house, so that I may take pleasure in it and be honored,” says the Lord. 9

“You expected much, but see, it turned out to be little. What you brought home, I blew away. Why?” declares the Lord Almighty. “Because of my house, which remains a ruin, while each of you is busy with your own house.

10 Therefore, because of you the heavens have withheld their dew and the earth its crops. 11 I called for a drought on the fields and the mountains, on the grain, the new wine, the olive oil and everything else the ground produces, on people and livestock, and on all the labor of your hands.”  (Haggai 1:2-11)

I’m sorry.

I’m sorry for playing my part in all of these ugly things.  I’m sorry for insisting on false peace.  I’m sorry for insisting on cookie cutter Christianity.  I’m sorry for being a whore to the Evangelical Churches who had a Hive Mind instead of the mind of Christ.

Women should be completely equal to men.  If they are not – then the fullness of the cross will never be realized.  Jesus paid the price for ALL sin, including Eve’s.  In doing so, the cross wiped out the curse from the Garden of Eden. There is no male or female in Christ.  Women are not second class citizens.  We carry half of the image of Christ – without women in leadership, the Church does not really have the whole picture.

When Paul said women should be silent – he was speaking to a specific group of women who had gotten rowdy.  Jesus told women to speak up – specifically, He told Mary Magdalene to go and tell his male disciples that He had risen.   A woman was the first preacher of the gospel.  So, obviously, Paul did not mean ALL women should be silent and “not be permitted to teach men.”  Jesus told a woman to go and “teach” a new revelation to His disciples.

When the Evangelical Church separates men and women like this they become guilty of spiritual homosexuality.  Spiritual homosexuality happens when only men are allowed to “birth” things in the church.  Only men are allowed to make decisions.  Only men are allowed to do the teaching.  Having only men in Church leadership means that there is only one gender that is allowed to “spiritually parent” the Church.

There are hearts in the Church who are crying out for true mothers.  Not whores, but Spiritual Mothers who have authority to comfort and correct and teach and nurture.  There is a GREAT need in the Body of Christ for the comfort that only Spiritual Mothers can bring.  The only roles that were given to the genders in the Garden of Eden were that of a Father and a Mother.  Both are necessary to create life.  Both are necessary to raise healthy children.  Right now – most of the Evangelical Church is only allowed to have Spiritual Fathers.  True Spiritual Mothers aren’t kept behind their husband as though they are invisible.  True Spiritual Mothers work alongside the Spiritual Fathers and have equal say over the raising of the children.

God’s original intention and Christ’s subsequent redemption was that men and women would be one flesh and rule over the earth together.

God needs us to become one.  We need both male and female to spiritually birth things.  This is not achieved by females becoming invisible so that males can lead.  We need each other.

Once, God used me to correct a young man from his sin and then him free in a miraculous way at an Evangelical Church.  It was truly an amazing thing to witness God’s presence as He led me in using my gift of discernment and my tools of deliverance to set him free from his sin.  But after the amazing awe-filled evening, I was told that I couldn’t take any credit for what happened.  I was told, “God did it… not you.”

I was stunned for a moment that this elder was not even going to give me any credit for what he had just witnessed.  I had taken great risk to call out this young man’s sin.  I had used a gifting that came from God but that I spent years developing my character to use.  I had also trained myself to use tools of deliverance.  Yes, God did it – but He was able to use me because I was mature enough to use them.

I was a Spiritual Mother to this young man because I cared for his destiny more than I cared to upset him.  But the elder can’t afford to give a woman credit for setting this man free.  It would upset the apple cart of the spiritual homosexuality that he and the Good Old Boys have so carefully preserved.  I was a better elder to this young man than the male elders had been.  They knew he was sinning and no one was willing to cause conflict in order to set him free.

I know it’s ugly.

But it must be dealt with.  I am sorry for my part in oppressing women in the Evangelical Church. I’m sorry for promoting spiritual homosexuality.  I’m sorry for manipulating people for their money. I’m sorry for creating a Holy Huddle of self-righteousness.  And I am sorry for covering all of it with a veil of “niceness.”   I hope that through this confession that some will see behind the veil and repent.

There is nothing in this life that I take more seriously than Judgement Day.  When I stand before the Lord and bow my knee, I want to hear “Well done, good and faithful one!”

It is for this purpose – wanting my brothers and sisters in the Evangelical Church to hear “Well done!” – that I dare to rock the boat.

Are you willing to give up your false peace in order to take a long, hard look into this mirror?

As a woman in the Evangelical Church, I want to be united with men.  I want to be of one heart and one mind.  I don’t want to be “over” men – I want to rule alongside men, the way the Lord intended.

I want to be Mary Magdalene who comes and tells you a new revelation that God has given me.  But if you ignore me the way the disciples did Mary… if you steal my revelation from God and claim it for your own… if I’m invisible and you think that women should be silent and only here for the lifting up of men – you relegate me to being a whore.

And I refuse to be one anymore.

Prophecy: "Misfits" are rising up in the Kingdom of God!

I am calling all "misfits" to My throne, for now is the day of the "misfits."

Those of you who have been discarded by society because you didn't fit into their paradigm.  Those of you who think a little outside of the box and have been shunned as weird or odd.  Those of you who can never seem to fit inside the cookie cutter that the Pharisees have demanded you conform to, I am calling you to Myself.

I never demanded that anyone fit inside a preformed mold.  I created each and every soul differently... and I like it that way!

You are not misfits-you are Mine!!

There is a place for you inside My heart.  Right in the center! There is a plan that I have for those that the world deems misfits.  My plan is to take you and turn the world upside down. My plan is to use My misfits and set My people on fire! My plan is to use those the world and the church have discarded for My glory!

If you have been labeled a misfit - rejoice for that is exactly what I was!  I did not fit in.  I did not conform. I didn't care what anyone thought of me, I only cared what My Heavenly Father thought!

Do you remember that I used a host of "misfits" to plant My Kingdom?

Remember the parable of Rudolph and the Misfit Toys?  They all ended up saving the day.

There is going to be a day when those who have discarded you will have great need of you.  Keep your heart right with Me. Forgive those who rejected you and refused you... they did the same with Me.

Keep your eyes and your mind focused on Me!  The best is yet to come!

I Am Your Creator and I made you perfectly!

Come and listen to My thoughts about who you are.  Get yourself ready!

Dwell in the perfect love of My heart. This is where you belong!!!

Is False Submission Stealing Your Calling?

Jesus continually did one thing that enraged the Church leaders of his time:  He refused to submit to their authority.  He lived his life on earth under His Father’s authority – not the authority of man.  If Jesus had submitted himself to the Sanhedrin and the High Priest, He would have never finished His calling.

They told Him not to heal on the Sabbath.  They questioned where His authority came from.  They tried to belittle Him and spread falsehoods about Jesus because Jesus was stealing their presumed power.  The leaders of the Church of Jesus’ day liked their positions.  They found their identity in their positions – and it caused them to have a spirit of control over their sheep.

They walked in false authority.

Jesus put His heavenly Father’s wishes above the oligarchy of the leaders and Sanhedrin.  He would have been disobedient to obey the “restrictions” that the Church put on Him.  The leaders of the Church in Jesus’ day had a carefully designed Matrix of control in which they used manipulation and legalism to keep the sheep in line.

Now Jesus didn’t completely disrespect the religion of His youth.  He did obey the customs and some of the expectations of the Church leaders – but not when it came to fulfilling His calling.  Jesus commonly practiced civil disobedience against these religious leaders.

He sought His Father’s will first and then obeyed it.  He did not let man keep Him from obeying His Father – even to the point of dying on the cross.

Of course, we are to obey our leaders as it says in Romans 12.  But in the same way that Jesus did, we are practice civil disobedience against our Church leaders when they try to supersede the will of God in our lives.

As Believers,  if we know that we know God has called us to do something, and we allow an earthly person or leader to talk us out of it – we have submitted to false authority.

We must always allow God’s will and His commands to have first place in our lives… even if it goes against our Church leaders.  God will hold us accountable if we obey man instead of Him.

The disciples disobeyed Church leadership because the Lord had instructed them to share the Word of God.

Acts 5: 27 - 30 The apostles were brought in and made to appear before the Sanhedrin to be questioned by the high priest. “We gave you strict orders not to teach in this name,” he said. “Yet you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching and are determined to make us guilty of this man’s blood.”   Peter and the other apostles replied:

“We must obey God rather than human beings!”

Now, any of you who have followed me for any amount of time know

my feelings about the Patriarch System that looms over the Church

.  According to many Church leaders, there are a litany of things that women are not allowed to do.

But I still remember the day God called me to preach.  I still remember the Lord telling me I would have to cling tightly to Him because the men at my church were not going to be happy about it.  Nevertheless, I would still need to obey Him.  And that’s what I did.

It was hard to obey the Lord and not men when it came to my calling.  It was hard to push back against false submission and be called names and be called a Jezebel all because God gave me a gifting that men “presumed” belonged only to them.

Nevertheless, I have obeyed Him.  And it has been so worth it.  I have lost friends, and jobs, and church families because I have been unwilling to follow the legalistic rules of the Patriarchy Oligarch.

But if I bend my knee and bow to false submission, I am worshiping an idol.  If I obey the rules that men lay down for me, instead of obeying the Lord – I hand the fate of my calling over to them.

If I choose to listen to men and lay down my calling because men told me to, I would have no answer to give to the Lord on Judgment Day.   “My Church leaders wouldn’t let me,” will not be a sufficient excuse.  I will be the one held accountable for not fulfilling my calling.

Maybe your calling isn’t in ministry, maybe it is elsewhere, but there is a temptation to not follow through because it would “seem” unsubmissive.  Please hear me, whatever God has called you to, do not bow your knee to the Spirit of False submission. You must obey God and not men.

Jesus showed us how to respectfully disobey the Oligarchy.  If God is telling you to do something, and men are trying to keep you from obeying – DO IT ANYWAY!

...even if they end up crucifying you for it.

God Won’t Bring Revival Until This Happens First

I want revival to be poured out so badly!  I want the Spirit of God to pour and pour and pour until the whole land is renewed and the people SEE the glory of the Lord.

There have been little drops of revival rain here and there – but nothing like a downpour.  And friends we need a downpour!

It feels like we’re waiting on God.  Why is He taking so long?  There are so many hurting people.  Our country is in so much pain and confusion.  We NEED an outpouring of His Spirit!  We NEED for Him to come and redeem us out of the pit.

But, we have it twisted.  The truth is…

We’re not waiting on God.  He’s waiting on us.

We are the ones who “prepare the way for the Lord and make straight paths for him.”

When John the Baptist came in his camel hair outfits and crazy locust diet, he preached something that was unheard of at the time.  He preached repentance.

Up to that time people asked forgiveness for their sins and offered sacrifices – but no one was preaching repentance.  John’s message was different and it stood out.  He was calling for people to turn from their sin and then stand in continual righteousness.  He was calling for people to DO WHAT WAS RIGHT in the eyes of the Lord.

In all four gospels, John the Baptist is crying out from the desert for people to repent from their sins for the Kingdom of heaven is near.  He is the prophet written about in Isaiah 40:3-5 (NKJV)

The voice of one crying in the wilderness:

“Prepare the way of the Lord;

Make straight in the desert

A highway for our God.

4 Every valley shall be exalted

And every mountain and hill brought low;

The crooked places shall be made straight

And the rough places smooth;

5 The glory of the Lord shall be revealed,

And all flesh shall see it together;

For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”

Pay attention here, because we are shown what must happen before the glory of the Lord is revealed.

  1. The valleys shall be raised up. – (We shall be lifted up out of the insecurities and depression of the valley.)

  2. The mountains shall come down. – (Our pride and vanity shall be brought low.)

  3. The crooked places made straight. – (The twisted thinking about God and His Kingdom shall be untwisted with His truth.)

  4. The rough places made smooth. – (We will learn to dwell together in unity with one another, without personalities clashing or taking offense.)

The glory of the Lord will be revealed.

Repentance comes first… then the glory.

There is a confirming of this verse in Isaiah 59:19-20 (NIV)

19 From the west, people will fear the name of the Lord,

and from the rising of the sun, they will revere his glory.

For he will come like a pent-up flood

that the breath of the Lord drives along.

20 “

The Redeemer will come to Zion,

to those in Jacob who repent of their sins

declares the Lord.

The Lord wants to come like a pent-up flood.  He wants His creation to revere His glory… but He comes to those who repent of their sins.

Repentance comes first… then the glory.

This takes me back to the beginning.  We aren’t waiting on the Lord for revival. He is waiting on us.

The Redeemer is waiting on us to turn completely to Him.

He is waiting for us to BELIEVE that we are sons and daughters of God.  He is waiting for us to BELIEVE that His Son paid the price for our shame.

He is waiting for our pride and self-righteousness to come down.  He desires that we stop presuming we know His ways when we don’t.

He is waiting for us to let loose of some of our pet doctrines and allow His Spirit to show us a deeper meaning.  He is waiting for us to let go of the Letter of the Law and to let the Spirit of the Law be our guide.

He is waiting for us to stop hating our brothers and sisters in the Lord.  He desires for us to love each other even in the midst of disagreement.  He is waiting for grace and understanding and patience to exude from His Bride.

God wants to bring the glory of revival.

… but He is waiting on you.

Are you willing to lay it all down and prepare the way for the Lord in your own heart?

Repentance brings revival.

God, I come humbly to Your altar and pray for a spirit of repentance to be poured out on my heart.  I want to fear You.  I want to seek You with all of my heart, mind, soul, and strength.  Please forgive me for being unwilling to turn from My sin.  Please forgive me for not allowing You to have ALL of my heart.

I ask to be delivered from my sin and my shame.  I ask You to start a fire in my soul that I might become a flame for You.  Help me to walk away from lukewarmness.   I ask You to convict me when I am not keeping with repentance.  Raise up my valleys, bring down my mountains, make my crooked places straight and my rough places smooth.

Thank You that Your arms are open wide. Thank You that You are a gentle shepherd.  Thank You for taking my shame.  I want to walk closer to You.  I want to be known as Yours!

I pray for an outpouring of Your glory.  Baptize me anew with Your Holy Spirit.  In the mighty name of Jesus.

Ask not what your Church can do for you...

I was about to write out a prophetic word on Facebook that has been ringing in my head recently, but I felt the Holy Spirit say "Not yet... I have something different for you to post."

About five minutes later, I got a text from a friend reminding me to do a video on "Consumer Church."  We had spoken about how it's easy to get caught up in consuming spiritual food and never really use the spiritual calories by serving others.

Here is a four-minute video explaining what Consumer Church is and how to NOT to waste your spiritual caloric intake!

The New Wineskin of the Micro-Church

I’ve been a little busy over the past few weeks!  I haven’t written quite as often as I would like to.  But I have a really good reason.

A few years ago, I was sitting in the middle of a Memorial Day Parade in the city in which I live.  It was the first time I had been at the heart of the parade.  I was astounded at the number of people that showed up!

It wasn’t a parade of beautiful floats or famous people. It was a parade of baseball teams, local organizations, political hopefuls, hotrods, horses and probably a thousand pounds of tootsie rolls and suckers that came flying at our heads.   The number of people that attended this parade was staggering.  I just couldn’t get over it.

The Holy Spirit spoke to my heart in the midst of my awe and said,

“What are you going to do about this?”

It was one of those times that the words of God felt three-dimensional.  Because I had an immediate interpretation of what He meant.

He was saying, “Look at all of these fish ready to be caught. What are you going to do about it?”

I immediately saw a vision of holding a festival after the parade celebrating Jesus and using the festival to catch men.  I heard in my spirit “Faith Fest.”  I submitted to the Lord that I would do whatever He asked me to do to bring Faith Fest to my city.

Long story short, we just held our sixth annual Henry County Faith Fest in the downtown of our city over Memorial Day weekend.  We hosted live bands, had free games and prizes for the kids.  There were inflatables, face painting, and delicious food.  We publicly celebrated Jesus!   At the end of the evening, we gathered with some local pastors and local government officials to pray for our community.  We asked the Lord to bring the Truth.  Our community needs to be set free and the Word tells us that it is the Truth that sets us free.

It was fun and it was even refreshing, even though my feet were killing me by the end!

I had a gentleman approach me to thank me for putting on Faith Fest and asked me a few questions about a festival they were trying to start in the fall.  He said, “We just can’t get the churches to join in.”  I explained something to him that I thought would be a good revelation to share with those who follow me and my ministry.

Most of the Church is asleep.

Most of the Church is lukewarm.

But there are individuals in the Church who are awake.  There are individuals who are not lukewarm and have the fire of God burning inside of them – they want to do something for the Lord.  They are raring to go – but they feel powerless because the rest of their brothers and sisters in Christ just don’t have the same fire that they do.

But we are not powerless.  That’s what the enemy wants us to think.  The enemy wants us to believe the lie that since the Body of Christ is not willing to be mobilized, the rest of us are powerless.

But this is not true.  We must get out of the thinking that the people who attend meetings at my church must all come together as one for us to “catch fish” outside of the four walls.

God is putting together “micro-churches” in order to see the great commission fulfilled.

The people who volunteered to help put Faith Fest together were individuals from different churches who are on fire for the Lord and want to get His message to our community.  We were not all from one church building or denomination but we were all Christ followers who came together to reach our community for His Kingdom.  We became a “micro-church” in order to carry out the vision.

This is going to happen more and more in God’s Kingdom.  There is a new wineskin for reaching the lost with the gospel and the old way of thinking that it has to be one church or denomination that carries the message is fading.  A micro-church is much more flexible.  A micro-church is much easier to maneuver.  A micro-church is much easier to mobilize.  In short, a micro-church is more effective.

I would rather have 25 individuals from all different churches who have a fire in their belly – than 100 people from the church building I attend who are helping because they feel obligated.

This breaking away from the old pattern is going to be necessary for unity to come to fruition.  Micro-churches exude unity in a way that the big churches can’t.  It is this unity that shines the light of Jesus.

Truth be told – my main “micro-church” is my family.  My husband and I along with our two sons are the main mechanism behind the outreach ministry that we do.  We are unified to see the Kingdom of God manifest in the earth.  We don’t need to have the church we attend come alongside us in order to be successful.

The Holy Spirit is our guide.  He brings us people who are eager to accomplish the Great Commission and we voluntarily work together with Jesus as our Head.

Never think that you have to have your church behind you in order for you to fulfill a vision God has given you.  There are people around you who have a fire in their bellies to serve the Lord.  If you are longing to fulfill the Great Commission and your church is asleep – ask the Lord to give you a micro-church of like-minded Believers.

It’s OK to attend a church and be part of a micro-church at the same time.

Jesus is the Head.  Move when He says move…even if the Church is asleep.

Should Christians Boycott Movies, Stores, and Products? A Different Take

The culture wars have hit Christianity hard.  They have hit us so hard that we seem to be floundering about how to answer the demands of “Babylon.”  The WORLD has come knocking at the door of an immature Church demanding that we bow to the golden idol of their choosing or else be thrown into the fiery furnace.

From Duck Dynasty to Target to Starbucks to Disney Movies and Disney TV shows, from HGTV to the Grammys…  Christianity has been told if they do not compromise and agree with the WORLD’s new morality then they will be targeted with fiery words aimed at making us comply.

Some Believers have nobly called for boycotts of these brands.   Others have rightly argued that we are called to be in the world and influence it – how can we do that if we remove ourselves from the equation.

There has arisen a great divide on this issue among the Church.  Some demand that we are not good followers of Christ if we continue to frequent businesses that serve this Babylonian idol of immorality.  If we would all simply boycott – that we would weaken Babylon’s resolve.

Others have sharply disagreed that we are not unholy by patronizing businesses of the WORLD.  We are called to be the light in dark places.  If we boycott the WORLD, we are hiding our lights under a bushel.

I have friends on both sides of this issue.  There are Biblical merits for both arguments. As I have been seeking the Lord about His direction for my own life, I’d like to offer a different take on whether or not God requires us to boycott in order to obey Him.

He actually addressed this issue right in His word.

Romans 14

As for the one who is weak in faith, welcome him, but not to quarrel over opinions. 2 One person believes he may eat anything, while the weak person eats only vegetables. 3

Let not the one who eats despise the one who abstains, and let not the one who abstains pass judgment on the one who eats,

for God has welcomed him. 4 Who are you to pass judgment on the servant of another? It is before his own master that he stands or falls. And he will be upheld, for the Lord is able to make him stand.

One person esteems one day as better than another, while another esteems all days alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind.

6 The one who observes the day, observes it in honor of the Lord. The one who eats, eats in honor of the Lord, since he gives thanks to God, while the one who abstains, abstains in honor of the Lord and gives thanks to God. 7 For none of us lives to himself, and none of us dies to himself. 8

For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord.

So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord's. 9 For to this end Christ died and lived again, that he might be Lord both of the dead and of the living.

10 Why do you pass judgment on your brother? Or you, why do you despise your brother? For we will all stand before the judgment seat of God; 11 for it is written,

“As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me,

and every tongue shall confess[b] to God.”

So then each of us will give an account of himself to God.

If we boycott, we boycott to the Lord.  If we do not boycott, we do it unto the Lord.  For we each are responsible to our Master.  We are not the “master” of one another.  We each submit to the Head, which is Christ.

Boycotts sometimes work.

But not every Believer is called to boycott.  Some are called to work within the system to see it changed.  Others may be called to minister to the people within those organizations by frequenting their establishments.

We are to let each of our consciences submit to the Lord without passing judgment on one another.

Personally, I have joined in some boycotts and I have not joined in others.  I have listened to the leading of the Spirit each time.  I am at peace with my decisions because I am bowing my knee to my God – not to the god of Babylon – nor to the letter of the law.  I am bowing my knee to what God is asking of me, personally.  And I urge you to do the same.

Back to the very heated question:

Should Christians boycott movies, stores, and products?

Follow the leading of the Holy Spirit, but do not expect every Christian to get the same answer.

Benevolent Patriarchy – is still Patriarchy

I have been around the block in the Church concerning the role of women. In my lifetime, I have experienced churches that have wide differences in how they see women fitting into the Kingdom of God.

Some churches believe women should adhere strictly to all of the cultural laws spelled out for women in the New Testament. Head coverings, not speaking in church, only allowed to teach children, no seats on any leadership team. Their husbands are the “head” of the home which is interpreted to mean “boss.” Men have the final say on everything, in the church and in the home.

Some churches believe in the fullness of women’s rights inside the Kingdom. “No male or female in Christ” is interpreted to mean that a woman can take on any duty in the church from janitor to pastor. The term “One Flesh” is taught to mean that a wife is equal to a husband and that they mutually submit to one another.

Most of the churches I have attended fall somewhere in between those two parameters. The middle of the road churches try to straddle the fence on the woman question. Can a woman be an elder or a pastor in the New Testament?

If you have followed my ministry for any length of time you already know where I stand on this issue.

I do not believe in Patriarchy or Feminism in the Church. (click here for more)

Scripture says we are all created equal and also were given equal authority in the Garden of Eden. When Christ died on the cross, he rolled back the curse all the way to the Garden of Eden and Men and Women should now rule over the earth together in the same way Adam and Eve did.

I know that the Church struggles with scripture when it comes to male headship. They feel that if they allow women to be elders or pastors that they are not adhering to scripture. Elders being the “husband of but one wife” is taken literally. Therefore, no women can be elders or pastors because Paul’s verse in 1 Timothy 3:2 was directed to the male gender. They also interpret the verse in 1 Corinthians 14:34 without any cultural background, therefore they believe Paul was saying that women should remain silent in church this meant that they cannot preach.

Except if we look more closely at New Testament scripture we find that Junia was an apostle. (Romans 16:7) Priscilla taught men and was in charge of a church alongside her husband. (Acts 18:23) (1 Corinthians 16:19) And Mary Magdalene was the first preacher of the gospel message. (John 20:17)

The Old Testament has plenty of examples of women in leadership Deborah, Huldah, Miriam, Ruth, and Esther.

God needs women. We are one-half of His image. He is going to pour out His spirit on us and we are going to prophesy and dream and see visions and do miracles and do spiritual warfare and LEAD!

Women are going to LEAD in this end time harvest. It doesn’t matter what the leadership of churches decide to do or not to do with their elder boards. Women are going to lead whether or not they have permission from men… because we have permission from God. If you don’t let us lead inside the Church then we’ll lead from outside of the Church.

Some men pat themselves on the back and say – “Well at least we let women on the stage, or at least we let women be in charge of the youth, or at least we let women be Trustees or Deacons, or at least we let women give a word on Sundays – We’re not as mean as other Patriarchal churches.”

What they are really saying is "at least we’re benevolent."

They say – “We may not allow women to sit at the elder table or preach but at least we’re nice about it.”

This my friends is still Patriarchy. When women are not given their full rights that Jesus paid for on the Cross because men believe they are still the “boss” of women – this is Patriarchy, no matter how nice you are about it.

Women have been set free from being second-class citizens in the Church. Jesus did it. His blood is enough. It’s time to get off the fence and allow women to have full liberty in God’s Kingdom.

A new wave of revival is coming. But God is going to have women sitting at the leadership table this time.

And if you don’t let women have a seat at the table – then God will bring revival through them and you’ll have to get to go through a woman to get to the River!

Benevolent Patriarchy is still Patriarchy.

Church! We MUST Stay Awake!

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ.  Today I have one simple but loud message from the Lord for you!  The message is this:

We must stay awake and continue to fight the good fight in prayer!

We have won some fantastic battles recently.  We have seen the witchcraft, and manipulative spirit of Jezebel be defeated in our nation.  We are now dealing with a spirit of Leviathan – which is a “twister of truth” and "king of all who are proud." (Job 41)

We must continue to fight and persevere.  We can never go back to business as normal.  If we are going to bring reformation to our nation, we are going to have to continue persevering and fighting the powers and principalities that hold this nation captive.

We will never again be able to lay aside our armor and become timid in prayer.  We must fight for the people of this nation to be free from witchcraft, manipulation and a twisting of the truth.

I ask God to sound an alarm in each of your spirits.  I encourage you to keep yourself girded for war.  Take a Sabbath once a week, but otherwise, we need to pray each and every day for our nation, for our government, for the Church, and for the lost!

When you wake up in the morning and ask the Lord for an assignment to pray for.  Choose a specific time of day to be persistent in prayer.  Perhaps make it a point to pray on the way to and from work or school.  Another idea is to pray the each time you have to use the little boys or girls room.  If you exercise, pray in the spirit during your walk or run.

MAKE IT A POINT TO INTERCEDE EVERY DAY.  It will become a habit if you persevere!

Please join me today and renew your strength as we fight together to see God’s Kingdom come and His will be done.

Father God we praise Your Holy Name, and we come before You with Thanksgiving for all You are doing in our midst.  We pray that our hearts and minds would align with Yours.  We pray for peace mixed with a healthy fear of the Lord.  We ask You, Lord, to forgive us for the times when we have not been diligent in fighting for Your Kingdom.  Grant us the grace to stay up with You and Your angelic army.  We pray for wisdom and understanding to fight.  We pray for our fellow soldiers in the Army of Love – we ask You to awaken their spirits to the fight we are encountering.

We ask You to forgive us for the twisting of the Truth.  We ask You to forgive the Church for twisting the Truth of Your character.  We ask forgiveness for the spirit of pride in our hearts. We confess that we have been a proud Church. We have been unwilling to obey You because of our pride.  We humble ourselves before you and acknowledge that we are but dust in the wind and that Your Truth is the only safe place to dwell.  We seek deliverance from our pride and the twisting of the Truth in our minds.  We ask You to put a hook in the mouth of the spirit of Leviathan and pull it out of our spirits and our churches.

We then cry out for our nation and ask You O Lord to deliver us from the prideful and twisted spirit of Leviathan.

Teach us again Lord to love Your Truth and let it stand without repentance.

We pray for the Army of Love to be fully awake.  We pray for the lost, bring them home. We cry out to dry bones, come alive!  In the mighty name of the Lord of Hosts!  AMEN

Jesus Did Not Come to Bring Peace…

“Aren’t Christians supposed to try to get along with everyone?”

A few years ago, I was in a heated debate with some local officials about the use of some public property for a Christian festival, and I was not taking the matter laying down.  They were wrong about how they were going about it.  I was within my rights to demand what I was demanding.  The Secretary in the meeting questioned me with these words:  Aren’t Christians supposed to try to get along with everyone?

“No!”  I said, “We’re supposed to stand up for righteousness and what is happening here is pure politics.”

It’s unfortunate that so many Christians have been paralyzed by the same sentiment that we are supposed to be quiet and keep the peace.  This is a lie from the pit of hell.  Christians are not called to be “nice” when there is unrighteousness happening before our eyes.  We are not called to lay down and be door mats simply to keep the peace.

We are called to be bold and speak the truth and to shine the light on injustice.  We are called to preach “REPENT for the Kingdom of God is here.”  We are called to make waves when necessary.

We’re not called to be passive little peacekeepers.  It is KIND to speak the Truth!  It is a KINDNESS to point out injustice and demand something be done about it!  It is KIND to preach repentance because repentance leads to TRUE peace with God.

Jesus did not come to bring peace on earth.  He came to bring a sword. (Matthew 10:34)

There is a mistaken understanding that Jesus who IS the Prince of Peace came to bring peace between men.  This is not true.  He came to make peace between God and men.

Matthew 10:34-39  Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth.  I have not come to bring peace, but a sword.  For I have come to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.  And a person’s enemies will be those of his own household.  Whoever loves his father or mother more than me is not worthy of me, and whoever loves his son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.  And whoever does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me.  Whoever finds his life will lose it and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.

The words in Matthew 10 are written in red.  They are spoken by Jesus Himself.  He said that He came to bring a sword which would cause family members to war against each other.  We don’t hear this taught much do we?  We don’t hear much about standing with the sword of Christ in the middle of your family or the world?

Unfortunately, much of the Church teaches that if we are not playing the role of “peacekeeper” that we are being unChristlike.  This kind of teaching neuters the Truth of Christ.  We are not called to bring peace to the world.  We are called to bring Christ, then Christ brings the world true peace.  No matter what we lose, no matter what kind of war it causes in our lives among our family and friends. We are called to shine the light of Christ, even if we make enemies because of it.  How can true peace come from man?  It can only come from Christ.  And it can only come once there is a repentance toward Him.

Somehow there is a counterfeit teaching in the Church that says if anyone hates you that you are not being a good Christian.  This is not true.  When people hate us for preaching the Good News of Jesus, we are fulfilling the words of Jesus.

“If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you.”  John 15:18

We cannot love our family or our friends more than we love the Lord or His gospel message.  People will hate you for speaking the truth.  People will hate you for preaching what Christ preached.  But being hated does not mean that you are not being Christlike, it means that you are doing it right.

Pointing out that people need the Lord and His righteousness is actually preaching PEACE!  Because Jesus came to be the Prince of Peace but not to bring peace the way the world defines peace.

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you.  I do not give to you as the world gives.  Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”  John 14:27

Jesus came to bring peace between God and man.  This kind of peace brings an “absence of war” within ourselves because we have been reconciled to God through the sacrifice of Jesus.  There will never be an “absence of war” on the physical earth until Jesus comes back.  (Matthew 24)

As much as people hate you for preaching the truth of Christ, many more will be forever grateful that you do.  Eternal peace and salvation is the goal.  Jesus warned that we would have to draw a sword to preach the truth and lose relationships because of it.

Being at peace with your fellow man is not the hallmark of a true Believer, being at peace with God is.  And pointing people to the Prince of Peace is how we become true peaceMAKERS – not just peaceKEEPERS.

Do not be paralyzed from speaking God’s truth, firmly and in love!   Being hated is a sign of belonging to God’s Kingdom!

Steps to Wholeness:

Jesus, I pray that You would be my Prince of Peace.  Completely reconcile my heart to You.  I ask for boldness to preach Christ to my family and friends.  Remind me that there is a reward for being hated because of the gospel.

A Prophetic Word About the Next Generations

This morning I woke up with a song in my heart. It was the song by Rascal Flatts called “Bless the Broken Road.” It’s a love song, and we normally hear it at weddings. Especially at weddings in which people have had difficult paths to reach the point of getting married.

The song centers around the idea that every heartbreak that the lover suffered actually ended up being a northern star that pointed them straight to the one they are meant to be with.

Here are some of the lyrics:

I set out on a narrow way many years ago

Hoping I would find true love along the broken road

But I got lost a time or two

Wiped my brow and kept pushing through

I couldn't see how every sign pointed straight to you

That every long lost dream lead me to where you are

Others who broke my heart, they were like northern stars

Pointing me on my way into your loving arms

This much I know is true

That God blessed the broken road

That led me straight to you *

My heart has been aching for the generations of youth who are walking broken roads. They don’t know it, but they are looking for God and His love. They seek it out through sex. They seek it out through social media. They believe the lie that if they could just get a person of the opposite sex to love them – their broken road would come to an end. But it won’t – because all of the brokenness that sex and empty social media relationships or “boyfriend/girlfriend” searching only makes us empty.

I grieve that they have a worse road than my generation did. Perversion, confusion, and lawlessness abound – they don’t even know that they are lost. They can’t see that these things that keep breaking their hearts are actually northern stars.

All of those broken things are meant to point them to Christ.

I thought of my own broken road this morning as the Holy Spirit was playing that song in my head… and I would have to say that my broken road led straight to Him. All of my pain was a northern star --- pointing me on my way into His loving arms.

God was gently saying to me, “Don’t grieve daughter. The broken road that this generation is on – will lead them to Me.”

Today, no matter what age you are, God wants to bless your broken road if you let Him. See the pain that you are in as a northern star pointing you into His arms.

Pray to Him. Just talk to Him like He’s listening - because He is.

Yell at Him if you need to. He can take it.

Humbly ask Him for help. Humility goes a long way with God...

He can turn anything you are facing right now for your good. All you have to do is reach for His hand. God bless your broken road! May it lead you straight into His arms!

♫ “It's all part of a grander plan that is coming true.” ♫

Body of Christ – You Are Winning! Don't Stop Now! ADVANCE!

The Body of Christ has come together and we are marching against evil in our nation.  Our prayers have exposed manipulation, lies, and corruption that has permeated our government and the media.

We have set aside distractions, denominational differences, and our own pride to come together under the Lord's headship to see the Spirit of Jezebel defeated in our nation.

The spirit of Jehu has risen up.  The Eunuchs that have been controlled and manipulated by the spirit of Jezebel are tired of being used and they are throwing her down. (2 Kings 9)

The Church has been silenced by the Spirit of Jezebel in our nation.  We have lost our voice and have hidden in our caves afraid of this spirit.  (1 Kings 18)

This is no time to let down.  We must continue to pray that this spirit (not a person) will be trampled until there is nothing left but her hands and head.  (2 Kings 9:35)

Not one person can wholly take credit for what has happened here - it has taken all of us.  It has taken all of the giftings and every level of warfare to bring her down.  From the privates to the generals.  We've begun to understand what the end-time army and the end-time builders will look like.

The Kingdom of God is being revealed.  It will soon be time to transition into a new season of victory.  The Body of Christ has been used to losing battles but now we are going to have to learn to start winning!

No one should touch His glory.  No human should take credit.  But we can honor one another for the part that we have played in the victory.

Continue the intercessory advance against the witchcraft and manipulation spirit until it is trampled completely underfoot.

Everything will be revealed.  Only let us not stop pressing in until the Spirit tells us we are finished.

The Old Timers used to call this “Praying Through.”

We listen to the Spirit. Not to our flesh. Not to poll numbers. Not to media.  We pray until we hear our Commander say, “It’s finished!”

Father God we will no longer tolerate Jezebel.  Forgive us for letting it go on for so long. No matter what it costs us we will no longer stand for manipulation and corruption in Your church, in our communities, and in this nation.  We cry out for justice against every wicked deed done in darkness. Begin with Your church.  Cleanse us from those who claim that Your church belongs to them. Cleanse our government and media from a spirit of corruption and manipulation.  We pray for the eunuchs to step forward and expose the corruption.  We ask You to help us to pray through... until our assignment is completely finished!

In the mighty name of Jesus, AMEN
