You have a purpose. A path. Father God has created you to accomplish something important during your life. At the end He desires to tell you “Well done!” But what is your place in the world, and how can you find it? What is your place in His story?
I believe God created you with a longing in your heart to find your place. And I’m here to help you in your journey. With God-given tools and a heart for serving others, it’s my mission to help you find your place in the world.
Where I’ve been:
For several years, I have worked as a Director of Worship in a church and ministered to the poor for ten years, helping many escape the cycle of the poverty mindset. I planted a prayer ministry and taught others about their authority in spiritual warfare. I’ve also had the blessing of mentoring hundreds of people toward emotional wholeness.
I received my degree from MidAmerica Nazarene University, and also spent time as a music teacher immediately following my college graduation. I worked in a Community Center where I served food to the less fortunate for four years before launching my own ministry in 2009.
Where I am:
I currently write about faith and discipleship on my blog (www.TishaSledd.com), and I’ve been a contributing writer for Cindy Jacobs ministry. I have written three books, and have a few more stirring in my heart.
I regularly work with people in person and via video conference to mentor them and help them pursue God’s path for their lives. I’m an active prayer warrior and have a passion for seeking God’s direction for my life, for our nation, and the people I connect with.
Where I’m going:
I never set out to become a writer, but God continues to place stories in my mind. I’ll keep writing as long as the stories are there to tell.
The tools God has given me in my history of mentoring others are meant to be shared. I’m reaching out to more people to help them navigate their path in life, and I can’t wait to see what God has in store! I love that God writes each of our lives in fairy tale fashion, for we already know the victorious ending. It is my desire to help set others free and equip them to live their story to the fullest!
Fun personal stuff: I've been married to Tom since 1993 and we have two sons, Josiah and Joel. We live just outside of Indianapolis, Indiana, and we love football and barbeque (Tom and I grew up in Kansas, so that's kind of a requirement).
